Lesley creates site-specific dance installations and guides workshops on the beaches and forests of coastal California and the Lake Tahoe Basin. Calling upon the natural landscape to inform her work and guide her movement, she develops rich dialogues between humans and the environment. Through this creative process, personal life themes are revealed and explored, often connecting with universal themes.

Lesley worked closely with dance pioneer, Anna Halprin (1920-2021) for over 20 years as a student and performer and is deeply influenced by her teachings. She is trained in the Tamalpa Institute Life/Art Process and is a certified yoga instructor. Lesley is also a freelance art director and wardrobe stylist.
